The term "anchor bolt" is not uniformly defined. It is understood to mean various types of bolts that are usually embedded in a foundation, to which a steel structure or similar is then attached. Other terms include "foundation bolts", "anchor bolts", etc.

ANKERBOLZEN
Unter dem Begriff "Ankerbolzen" versteht man verschiedene Arten von Schrauben, die in der Regel in ein Fundament eingelassen werden, worauf dann eine Stahlkonstruktion o.ä. befestigt wird. Ankerbolzen können also in Beton eingelassen werden.
